THE KINGS HEAD – SOUTHWOLD

Southwold Idol returns for its third year in 2010 at The Kings Head Southwold for what is anticipated to be another huge competition on the Ultimate Karaoke roster.

With new owners at the helm of the venue this year, it was discussed about a different format however it has remained the same with four heats taking place through March on Thursday nights with the Final keeping on its traditional day of the Thursday before Easter, which again gives you all chance to kick start the Easter weekend in style.

As per usual you can enter online through this website (link below) or you can pick up a form from The Kings Head. All the details will be in the local press and also you can be part of their facebook page with all the details of the comp.  

The prize this year is once again 3 hours recording time for the winner of the Grand Final at Rock Lobster Studios in Southwold and they will walk away with a fully mixed and mastered disc.

With a lot of hype already surrounding the competition it is vital that you book your place now to guarantee at least one chance at getting through as places at this competition go very quickly indeed.

MILL IDOL 2010

THE MILL INN – SAXLINGHAM THORPE

The Mill Inn Bar and Restaurant once again hosts Mill Idol 2010 as it returns to this lovely family run pub. Last years event was a major success with Soulla coming out as the winner and then going to Anglian Idol 2009 to represent The Mill and claimed third place.

This year it returns with a place in the  Anglian Idol 2010 event up for grabs as well as £100 cash for the winner kindly given by the mill and also a photo shoot is up for grabs for the winner by A.S Photography which is perfect for all you budding singers who are looking to get started in the business.

The heats are on a Wednesday night as it was (full list below) however the final this year is being held on Sunday 15^th August in the afternoon as part of the family fun weekender which is being held at the venue on that weekend.

Heat 2 – Wednesday 7^th July 2010

Heat 3 – Wednesday 21^st July 2010

Heat 4 – Wednesday 4^th August 2010

Final – Sunday 15^th August 2010
